Keeping Kids Active: Freeze Tag

There are hundreds of variations of tag.  One of my favorites is freeze tag.  Just like regular tag, one person is chosen to be “It”.  “It” chases the other players and tries to tag them.  When another player is tagged, they must freeze where they were and in the position they were in.  If they move, they are out.  If another player tags them, they are unfrozen.  The game is over when all the players are frozen.  Do you enjoy a different variety of tag? Or, do you have other great ideas for keeping kids active?  Share your thoughts in the comments below.
