  • Background of CASTRO VALLEY INDEPENDENT SPORTS LEAGUE (CVISL)

Castro Valley Independent Sports League often referred to as CVI is dedicated to providing an opportunity for kids ages 5 through 18 to play baseball and since 2008 Flag Football has been added. Being an independent league, CVI has no residency requirements and therefore draws from Castro Valley, Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and other nearby cities. The goal of the league is to provide a positive atmosphere that provides kids the opportunity to participate in a team sport and interact with other players. All players have an equal chance to play amongst others within their skill level and learn the game of baseball and flag football. Most importantly, everyone has fun. For information on a specific sports program, please refer to our eteamz websites for details. www.eteamz.com\cvibl
