  • Description - Ballet Center of Houston

Our goal is to provide the best possible dance instruction available for all levels. Our greatest reward is in watching our dancers grow and helping them feel more confident about themselves as dancers and people. Regardless of a child's ability level, our extensive programs for beginners and for those who just want to 'try it out' are as important to us as our advanced pre-professional programs. Interested students and parents are welcome to visit the school and observe classes. We also urge you to visit other area studios and compare the facilities, teaching staff and programs before making this important selection for yourself and your child. We offer individual goal counseling that can be arranged by appointment with the directer, Victoria Vittum. Ballet Center of Houston, offers a wonderful pre-ballet program for children 3-6 years old. This program focuses on the basic ballet positions and movements appropriate for this young age as well as creative dance, gross motor skills, musicality and learning to work together in a group situation. Creative thinking, imagination and appreciation for classical music are stressed at this level, resulting in an excellent and fun introduction to the classical ballet and fine arts for any child. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available.
