  • Description - Birmingham Baseball

Birmingham Baseball is a program for young baseball players between the ages of 12 and 18 years old. Birmingham Baseball is a Traveling/Tournament team that plays in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. In 1993, Birmingham Baseball held it's own tournaments and now host three each summer with teams coming from all over the United States, fielding as many as thirty teams per tournament. At Birmingham Baseball and The Baseball Academy, we believe that the love for the game grows when we have a better understanding of the game. We believe in teaching not only the strategy of the game, but also the basic fundamentals of hitting, pitching, fielding, throwing, catching, and other aspects of the game. We break the mechanics down so that 7 year olds to adults can understand the correct way to swing a bat, throw a baseball, and field a baseball. We believe the lessons learned in baseball or any athletic endeavor also helps each one of us in life situations. A good attitude, work ethics, and a knowledge of how to do things correctly always generates great results. This is how we approach our work with each student with Birmingham Baseball and The Baseball Academy. Hope to see you soon.
