  • Description - Coppell Conservatory

We offer private instruction on Violin, Viola, Classical Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, and Electric Guitar. We offer private, one-on-one piano instruction that concentrates on developing artistry and technique at the acoustic piano. For students who want to study piano in a more relaxed, group setting, we offer our group piano instruction. This program emphasizes building keyboard skills and introduces basic musicianship in small group settings in our piano lab. Coppell Conservatory offers you the opportunity to develop and nurture a strong musical bond between you and your child through singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple instruments. Our program is designed to increase your child's curiosity about music, to develop his/her listening skills and sense of beat, and to establish his/her foundation for a strong music education that will be extremely valuable during his/her school years. Within your child are the voice, the movement, and the language of music. Our Musicianship Classes go beyond standard instrumental instruction by filling the gaps that commonly occur in music education. We believe in providing a complete breadth of musical instruction that includes music theory, music literature, music history, music analysis, and more. This program emphasizes the basic skills of literate musicianship appropriate for the age, level, and ability of each student.
