  • Description - Indomitable Spirit Martial Arts

Children's Program: Our Children's Program is for 6 to 12 year old children and focuses on the development of the student's martial arts and social skills. We strive to teach the children the five tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Our staff fosters the development of the "black belt attitude" - giving the best effort in every activity. Our program allows for individual development combined with group socialization. We have a variety of special events and competitive outlets to enhance the child's skills and attitude. Little Ninjas Program: Our Little Ninjas program is geared towards 3 to 5 year old children. The program focuses on eight core skills: Balance, Teamwork, Control, Focus, Coordination, Discipline, Fitness, and Memory. Emphasis is placed on basic motor skill and group behavior development. The Little Ninjas program is comprehensive, continuously building towards the Children's Program. Children's Grappling: This program teaches children the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a ground based wrestling-style martial art. Grappling will teach the children to think on their feet and on their backs. The curriculum will teach the children to defend themselves even if they are tackled by a bully and thrown to the ground. The skills learned in this program will help protect them for the rest of their lives.
