  • Description - Troy MVP Training Center

Troy Baseball “MVP Training Center” was created to help young people improve their baseball and softball skills. Our first camp was held in the summer of 2001 in just in one batting cage, where hitting instruction was taught. Then in the summer of 2002, our first extended camp was held on our newly constructed full size playing field. The campers were taught all aspects of the game, including: hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching. In 2003, the indoor facility was built and thus became “MVP Training Center”. The goal of Troy Baseball is to work individually with each player and to demonstrate how hard work and dedication will improve their baseball and softball skills. During camp sessions we provide not only plenty of personal attention, but we give our students a chance to practice skills learned in game type situations. At the present time, Troy Baseball is offering many opportunities for youngsters from the surrounding area to learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball. Now with the opening of the "NEW" MVP Training Center (October 2009) we are offering personal training in other sports such as: Golf, Wrestling, Adult Fitness and Soccer. We also offering a "Dodge Ball" league for those who are interested in this fun packed game.
